Consumerism

Today i just watched a documentary online  called  Fakes a BBC  series a very  good watch  a real  eye opener about the  ever increasing market for  fake brand names  with sporting apparel and designer labels and  even  pharmaceuticals  this doco  points a huge finger  at  china for all the   low cost labour and  mass production  which i find to be a little  harsh   its because of the western consumers  pushing the demand  for   products thats  causing this slavery  . Problem  now that  they are ripping  of medication  and life threatning ones at that . The  thing   is what really   has me  cheesed off   is the thought of loved ones taking fake medicine is a scary thought especially the   infants   so it  seems that  the more we spend   our money and push  up demand  for things we don't really need  we are shackling  some person in a poor nation to a 16 hour day to a sewing machine
